ABOUT THIS WORK | Playing with the idea of abstraction in perpetuity, this work centers on blurred memories and the use of textures + colors as a pathway to evoke emotion. Painted on 24 individual 8 × 8 gallery wrap canvases (which were mounted on wood with Velcro), this piece invites the viewer to play with the idea of abstraction by moving the canvases and disrupting the blurred flows + drips to their own accord.
