Horsing Around

Kid-Friendly/Subjects | Explorations of Art’s Trusty Companion

Get on your high horse.

OVERVIEW

Join us for Painterly’s two-hour beginner’s, kid-friendly workshop exploring one of the art world’s favorite subjects: the horse.

This Painterly class loosely follows Dr. Seuss’s Horse Museum’s journey through art history by demonstrating there are countless ways to represent a horse . . . with many more ways yet to be discovered by new creators. Our circulum focuses on helping students zero in on what moves them specifically about horses and assisting them with creation of original artwork in that spirit.

Painterly Original works will be provided to fuel the creative process and stoke the imagination. No experience or artistic skill required!

(Note: While this class is kid-friendly, we encourage all ages to join in the horseplay.)

PRICING

All classes are $120 per canvas with a ten (10) student class minimum.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to counteract the age of disposable experiences by teaching genuine creative skills. Painterly’s framework promotes the creation of keepsake artwork that carries lasting personal value, rather than becoming clutter. In a world where art is often mass-produced or prohibitively expensive, we offer an affordable and intentional pathway for our students to create their own meaningful, display-worthy creations rooted in solid artistic foundations.
